Your Life & Mine Raising Awareness with New Single; Remind to Remember

Indie Band Your Life & Mine

Having shared the stage with bands such as We Are The Ocean and Novelists, touring the UK with Shoot The Girl First and touring Europe with The Amity Affliction, Blessthefall and Our Last Night, they are demonstrating their huge ambition to spread their music as far as it can reach.

Their much anticipated debut EP 'Emotions Aside' was released Spring 2017 and was supported by a UK Headline tour. Having sold out hometown shows headlining The Leadmill and Corporation and with a new record scheduled for release in Summer 2019, it is exciting to see where their music will take them.

The new single from Your Life & Mine is ‘Remind to Remember’ and will be released in support of Young Minds.

"We wrote Remind To Remember with the intention of helping to raise awareness about how bullying can affect the mental health of young people.

Remind to Remember is all about discovering yourself and that being different is okay. We reflect back on our school years and how looking a certain way or standing out can lead to bullying or discrimination. We want to share the message that it’s okay to be different and we should embrace these differences. At the end of the day we're all the same, be kind"

The band say: "Under One Roof was inspired by the concept that everything we talk about in each song is something that everyone goes through in their own life at home."

The tracks on Under One Roof take the common emotions of love and hate and gives a 'tongue in cheek' approach to the themes to demonstrate how it's not always doom and gloom.

Life goes on and life gets better, it's all about surrounding yourself with the people you love. The record also deals with other themes such as loss, bullying and addiction which we feel gives a hardened approach whilst also maintaining the YL&M vibe.

'Our songs are written about our experiences with life, and themes that matter to us. Under One Roof is our best portrayal of these themes yet and we are so excited to share them with you'.
