Raw, Natural and Fearless Vocals from Izzie Derry's Latest Single 'Lost At Sea'

Indie Music Artist Singer Izzie Derry

Lost at Sea takes us on a journey of self discovery, exposing each and every one of Izzie Derrys' vulnerabilities to deliver a raw, authentic EP. This 5 track collection was inspired by Derry's decision to leave her home in Coventry and relocate to a boat in Brighton.

By 'throwing herself into the deep end' Izzie Derry has become in tune with herself and her surroundings, a new-found energy which she channels into songwriting. Making use of her expressive lyrics and a clever combination of instrumentals, her songs truly capture the essence of being totally lost at sea.

In-keeping with her raw, natural sound and taking advantage of the unparalleled acoustics, Lost at Sea was recorded with a live band at a church in Hove, East Sussex. Izzies' powerful yet seemingly unrefined vocal carries through the entire EP, proving that she is a promising young talent to keep an eye on.

Despite being just at the beginning of her career, Izzie Derry has mastered her sound to that of someone way beyond her years. Music matched with her soulful spirit has lead the young singer to garner the support of BBC Introducing Coventry and Warwickshire and achieve Coventry and Warwickshire Artist of the Month for September 2017 amongst other awards.

Izzie Derry is renowned for her captivating live performances, some of which she has played supporting the huge names of Olly Murs, Courtney Marie Andrews and Hannah Trigwell. Her initial gig at local Godiva festival is when her music really spurred off.

Lost at Sea comes after a string of releases, both with her early label Domesticated Records and as an independent artist. Her debut alum received regular radio play from BBC Coventry and Warwickshire and Touch FM.

Lost at Sea will be available on all of Izzie Derrys' major digital platforms from the 24th April 2019.
