Singer-songwriter Karin Page spent 18 months of touring Australia in a caravan with her partner and guitarist Adam Nyeholt, playing music wherever the road took them. This life on the road helped inspire Karin to write her new single 'Lonely Night'.
In the last two years, her charming blend of rootsy Americana really began making waves around Australia, earning a slew of awards and loyal fans in every town she's visited.

Karin's nomadic lifestyle has deeply affected her music, which now bears all the character of the endless Australian road. Needless to say, this has made Karin very popular with country, folk and blues & roots fans.
'Lonely Night' sees Karin bring out a folk and blues fan favourite, under the guidance of Jordan Power (Angus and Julia Stone, Kasey Chambers) on production and mixing duties, including help from Grant Gerathy on drums (John Butler Trio), Matt Bone on double bass (Claire Anne Taylor) and Matt Engelbrecht on guitar (Bernard Fanning). Mastered by Brian Lucey at Magic Garden Mastering (The Black Keys, The Shins, Chet Faker), the laid back instrumentation draws influence from Ray LaMontagne and The Waifs and floats along with Karin's delicate vocals.
From a lyrical point of view Karin says of Lonely Night, "I wrote this song whilst I was touring in a caravan around Australia. I realised that so many of us portray this 'perfect life' on social media, yet so many of us struggle with mental health issues and often feel lonely inside. As an artist I am constantly surrounded by many people, but often feel alone so I wanted the listener to find comfort in knowing that we all experience ebbs and flows and that no-one is ever as alone as they think they are."
