Terminal Zero move from sonic blast to suspended silence with seamless ease. Musically, the band is driven by bone-crunching guitars and seismic beats that give an interplay between the perpetual bounce of electronic pop and the melodic, angst laden geo-political core of Peter Nattrass’ vocals. This Adelaide based four piece have carved out a contemporary heavy rock sound that lifts a room and moves the masses.
With the band set to release their second album ‘CONTROL’ later in the year, Terminal Zero are ready to offer up their second single ‘This Is What It Feels Like’. Shooting their latest video in an old factory in Adelaide, the band utilised Richard De Silva from Involuntary Muscle for the videography. De Silva has also taken care of the artwork for the new single, as well as doing the art for the soon to be released album.
Like the forthcoming album ‘CONTROL’, Terminal Zero’s new single ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ was produced and mixed by two time Aria nominee Richie DW Norton of Superheist fame. Having DW on board for the recording process was a great push for the creative limits of Terminal Zero, helping the band compose what they believe is their best work to date. ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ captures the synchronicity and creative drive of twin brothers Simon (Drums) and Matthew Warnock (Guitar), with Heath Newman (Bass) rounding out the backline. Captivating melodic and hook laden performances by renowned vocalist Peter Nattrass draws upon the bands alternative and modern electronic rock influences. Mastering for the track was done by John Ruberto at Mastersound in Melbourne.
