JULES Releases Her Brand New RnB Pop Single, 'r u rly sorry'


Indie-Pop Singer JULES

Indie-pop artist/songwriter, Julianna Isabella Pollifrone, was born in San Jose, CA and raised in the small mountain town of Los Gatos. At an early age Jules, developed a passion for poetry and was gifted an acoustic guitar, melding her expression of writing with music. At 17 she released her first indie-alternative EP, Stories Never Told. Her single, “Telephone Line” was featured on San Jose State University radio, KSJS, then San Francisco AAA radio, KFOG. By 2017 Jules’ had shifted from acoustic to electronic music and became influenced by artists like Lorde, combining ethereal ambient pop with progressive lyrics her song “Eyes Shut” reached 143K spins on Spotify by March ‘19. Her newest track, “r u rly sorry,” Jules calls upon influences such as Julia Michaels and Phoebe Ryan to craft this relatable and confident pop r&b single. The song is a narrative about someone who has been let down and isn’t quite sure the other person's apology is authentic. Produced in Los Angeles by David Bone and Camron Wroblewski, the EP also utilized the talents of Miguel Soltero.
