Jaz Mattu Mixes It Up with Some Rock, Funk, Jazz, Pop and Electro


Indie Artist Jaz Mattu

Jaz Mattu is multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Kent now based in London. His debut album, Sanguine Man, produced by Dean Whale, at DW studios was self released in Jan 2018. The album features a mixture of pop, rock and funk. Live he plays guitar and vocals with a backing band, at venues around London and Kent.

Jaz’s debut album, featuring 14 songs encompassing a unique blend of genre’s. The range across rock, funk, jazz, pop and electro and has now released two singles from Sanguine Man, 'Prisoner' and 'The Bridge'.

Jaz says: "The Bridge is about mental health, finding a new purpose in life, realising it's worth living”.

And of Prisoner he says:

"Prisoner is about being trapped in your mind watching others achieve your dreams, then resolve to ignore them and focus on yourself”.
