Javier's Debut Single 'Technicolor Dreams' Fuses Hip-Hop/R&B with A Taste Of Indie

Hip-Hop/RnB Singer Producer Javier

Javier is a 20 year old Boston Based Dominican/American songwriter-producer currently studying at Berklee College of Music.

Working from the attic of his house, Javier writes, record and produces his material on his own.

Javier's sound is an amalgam of 90's Hip-Hop/R&B and Indie aesthetics with contemporary harmonies, perfect for those late night car rides.

Javier's goal is to create a catalog of music that stands the test of time and that other can relate to.

He cites, "I want to be that artist you listen on that train ride or drive home when things aren't alway's going the way they should".

Although Javier is new to the music industry, he knows what he wants and has released his debut single titled, "Technicolor Dreams", taking you away on a cloud without a care in the world. Something in which I'm sure we can all dream about.

With the laid back cruising feel of 'Technicolor Dreams', it seems Javier is hitting all the right notes for his aspirations of how he would like his music heard.

“The songs about that surrealistic cinematic feeling you get when you’re with someone new and you’re absolutely enamored with them, at least the first verse. The rest of the song is essentially a counter essay to that, when I say “you know how things these days come and they go”, that’s me saying that the struggles of everyday life are weighing on the dynamic between me and the person I was once with. I couldn’t preserve the dream, so it became the opposite. The positive memories I shared with that person became tainted with the aftermath of our residual feelings.” say's Javier.
