The traditional country chart-topper pays tribute to yesteryear's country legends on new single, "They Don't Play 'Em Like That."
Richard Lynch is known for his traditional country roots. His chart-topping songs like "Country Music Isn't Country Anymore" and "We're American Proud" have paid tribute to the genre, its pioneers, and a time gone by, when pedal steel andfiddle ruled the airwaves. In fact, Lynch is even the host of "Traditionally Lynch," a radio and tv show that pays homage to the oft-forgotten sounds of country music.
On his brand new single, "They Don't Play 'Em Like That" Lynch has enlisted the hit-making team at Beaird Music Group to back him on the track. Their recording credits including a who's who of country artists, including Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, Brooks and Dunn, and more.
"I wrote 'They Don't Play 'em Like That' for the people who still hanker for the sounds of traditional country music," said Lynch. "I hope this song shows traditional country the respect it deserves."
Written by Richard Lynch and Tim Bennington, "They Don't Play 'Em Like That" mentions some of his favorite country artists, including George Strait and Conway Twitty. The song will get its World Premiere with Billy Bowles on KSSL in Lubbock, TX, this Saturday, February 9th between 10am and 12pm noon Central Time.
