Justin Landers is an independent singer songwriter based in Orange, New South Wales. Justin began performing as a solo artist in late 2013. Prior to this Justin had 20 years experience as a performer & musician with the majority of this time spent in the popular Orange based duos ‘Warp II’ & ‘Guess What’.
Justin released his self-recorded and produced album titled ‘None But Ned’ in 2017 with four self-written songs contained within his exciting new ten track album. Justin’s debut album received substantial radio AirPlay on the Community Radio Network, and featured as Kevin Walsh’s "Album of the Week" on Good Morning Country.
‘My Old Man’ is a stand alone new single following on from his debut album ‘None but Ned’. Justin penned the song for his dad’s 70th birthday. ‘My Old Man’ is a simple country ballad about a son’s appreciation for his father’s love and the lifelong lessons learned from him.
Justin intimates ... “The song gives a little insight into my life growing up as a boy but I wanted the song to relate to everyone on some sort of level. I wanted people to relive their own experiences that they had with their dad. So I kept the lines quite simple and pretty much straight to the point. Adding just enough to trigger a memory or emotion.”
Produced by Justin Landers and and mixed by the very talented Lance Birrell who also played Pedal Steel and Guitar, Pixie Jenkins on Fiddle, Ray Vanderby on Piano, Matt O’Leary on Backing Vocals with Justin Landers on Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Bass and Drums.
