The Bob Lazar Story

“Baritonia” from the “Baritonia” album

If you’re looking for instrumental music that will pick your brain as well as surprise you and take you on a journey, then you’d better get a listen to this band and album!

With a knack for quirky and eclectic, and music ranging from King Crimson to Frank Zappa, you’re bound to find tracks that will catch your attention. From this title track, “Baritonia” rich in invention, polyrhythm and special moments, to the somehow ELP inspired last bonus track “Escape Tits”, the inventive duo (Matt Deacon and Chis Jago) are exploring many moods and atonal curiosities in this album. I wouldn’t dare pin them to a genre, although they would say themselves they are offering “an oasis of ProgMathsyFusion to soothe your weary earholes” – that’s quite a program right there!

In a time where music is stagnantly tonal and too often boring to say the least, it’s refreshing that such music is still recorded and with such a passion and invention… Get past the beaten paths of today’s music and try this music, you might well like it.
