Love In The Harbour; Danielle Morgan

Danielle Morgan Singer

Songwriter / Singer / Musician Danielle Morgan loves to share a very personal musical journey with her many fans. Those who have seen her perform her own original work write and talk about how they are uplifted by Danielle’s universal themes and catchy melodies, delivered with real vocal power and honest emotion.

Danielle began honing her skills at a young age, and it was her path to enter the world- famous BRIT School in South London. She has composed over 70 original songs and works with co-writer John Merrigan, and worked with highly credited Los Angeles Producer, TheRealJonSmith (Luna Halo,4-time Grammy winner Kevin Max, etc) and in 2018 with renowned London producer, Alan Sampson.

“...undeniably Beatles flavoured melodies but I feel this song shows a strong sense of grandeur which reminds me of Queen” (Woody’s Rock Reviews on the track: “Shy”)

Recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios, Danielle released her debut EP, ‘The Session’ in June 2016 to critical acclaim, with featured track, ‘No Trace of You’ gaining extensive airplay.

Clearly, Danielle and the band thoroughly enjoyed the experience:

“Danielle’s compositions are diverse in topic & eclectic in mood. She writes about her life experiences that everyone can relate to and interpret for themselves. Her vocals are compelling, uniquely her own. On stage, Danielle (who sang in a gospel choir) is at her natural best; passionate and powerful in full flight. Says Danielle of her live performances: “Be ready for a spontaneous, fun and emotional evening of great original music, with a fantastic band. It’s honest, heart-felt music. No two shows are the same, so it’s guaranteed to be exciting and edgy!”

2018 has already been a busy year for Danielle with gigs played throughout the south of England and London, and further studio recording. Her diversity of genre and musical format is developing constantly - along with co-writer John Merrigan, Danielle has entered the world of musical theatre, composing music for the original play: “Love in the Harbour” set in WW1 which ran successfully in the Brighton Fringe Festival (May 2018).
