123 Come Play With Me; No fixed idENTITY

No Fixed Identity Singer

Leeds-based not-for-profit label Come Play With Me is set to release their next 7” split vinyl as part of their renowned singles club on Friday 19th October, funded by PRS Foundation’s, The Open Fund.

Genreless, genderless and boundaryless is the perfect description for Come Play With Me’s new artist ‘no fixed idENTITY’, with their latest track ‘123 Come Play With Me’ flowing seamlessly between many genres whilst cleverly challenging the social constructs around love.

‘No fixed idENTITY’ embraces the reality that experiences change people and therefore doesn’t allow oneself to be labelled by society and confined to a box, saying, ‘I am ready to just be, without expectations or judgements upon myself. For the first time in my life I’m loving all the ways I see myself, so I am celebrating that in the way I process anything, through music and lyrics.’

The single ‘123 Come Play With Me’ explains how love can appear in many forms, whether that be long lasting or fleeting, spreading a very powerful and uplifting message that as a society we shouldn’t judge loves sincerity based on how long it lasts, how we choose to identify or who we choose to love but on how we truthfully feel in each moment.

Social Enterprise Come Play With Me was founded to showcase and develop the amazing new music made in and around Leeds, with this split 7” set to be the 12th release in amongst an abundance of previous talent, such as Cinerama (The Wedding Present), Katie Harkin, Team Picture, Her Name Is Calla, The Golden Age Of TV, Laminate Pet Animal and Mansion Of Snakes. Each Vinyl showcases two artists and this release is no exception with no fixed idENTITY’s ‘123 Come Play With Me’ being featured alongside Dead Naked Hippies new single ‘Young Male Rage’.
