Jason Singh; Vale

Jason Singh

Debuting overnight at #2 on iTunes, JASON SINGH - singer, songwriter and original founding member of the iconic Australian band, TAXIRIDE - today releases his second solo album: VALE.

Drawing from the Latin phrase for farewell and goodbye, VALE is Jason's tribute to the artists who have contributed to him.

These artists may be gone, but they'll never be forgotten.

Recorded, mixed and produced with Adam Surace in their home studio, VALE features songs from a broad range of artists - from the eclectic Jeff Buckley and soulful Luther Vandross all the way to the rock, pop and funk of Michael Hutchence, George Michael, David Bowie, Chris Cornell, Prince and Whitney Houston.

"These artists have been my constant companions in life, they may have left us, but they've also left us with an amazing legacy to be celebrated." Jason Singh

While staying true to each songs originality, the clear sound of Jason Singh is stamped throughout, highlighting the breadth of his musicality.

A number of guest artists also feature on the album including Joe Camilleri (Black Sorrows), Dale Ryder (Boom Crash Opera), Mark Gable (Choirboys), Tim Watson (Taxiride) and Reece Mastin.

The first single from the album, LAST GOODBYE, released on 17 August, debuted at No. 11 on the iTunes Alternative charts. In this era of playlists, consider VALE your next playlist sorted.
