While most pre-teens & teens are enjoying the long 'Lazy Days of Summer' while schools out. Not British-Americans the Rowan siblings. These multi-instrumentalists, singer-songwriters and recording artists, known as Faith (13) & Harry (11) are busy with their latest single release and preparing for summer music festivals in the U.S. and U.K.
There latest release to hit digital platforms on June 26th 2018 is a cover of the U.K. 1981 hit 'Happy Birthday' a post Punk quirky song, that when Faith was asked if she'd like to cover the single, thought it was so much fun to turn it down would be 'crazy'. Faith & Harry were excited to record 'Happy Birthday after their global Indie success of 'Last Christmas' which became the Indie Christmas Radio song of 2017.
'Happy Birthday' is to be included in a UK Indie film to be released in 2019. The duo are under strict instructions not to reveal anymore, but remark that keeping secrets this big is 'tuff!'
But don't think for one moment these two are pop cover sensations, because they're also crafting their song writing skills. And have already released single My 'BFFs and Me' on March 12th 2018, written by Faith when she was just 12.
Her writing style is very fresh using images and language of her generation. Harry not to be outdone has become a talented writing partner and has been working with his sister to produce future compositions, including a change of pace a soul/pop song for release in a few weeks.
These mini-stars are already receiving accolades from the Indie Music World as they are nominated for double JMA music awards. The Josie Music Awards is the largest indie music show in the world, taking place on September 8th 2018 at Dollywood in Tennessee; Faith & Harry are crossing their fingers and toes until then. 'Just being nominated' said Harry 'is awesome!' For Faith bringing home a trophy would be our way of thanking our family, friends and fans 'who just are the best in the world!' Shares Faith.
With model looks and humanitarian souls these two are making their mark and are determined to 'Make the World a Better Place' with their music and philanthropy. The Rowan's in 2017 became advocates for an anti-bullying charity Free2Luv, a role they take seriously and are proud to support young people who struggle with the effects of bullying.
They are also involved in Music Education projects and help to raise money for countless other charities through out the year.
The Rowan's are not standing still and are very likely to pull you into their kinder, happier world.
