'Drunk Every Sunday' is the 5th release from Australian country artist Jase Lansky. This self-penned song, lifted from his award winning album 'Rip it up!', is a heartfelt country-rock ballad that reflects on life and the struggles that come up in every day relationships.
‘Drunk Every Sunday’ highlights the need to appreciate the ones you love, what you have, and where you are. Jase says, "I wrote this song as a reminder to myself to never get 'lost' again. And with the track title being more of a metaphor rather than a statement, I am hoping it may resonate for its various meanings."
Jase Lansky is an Australian independent country rock artist, singer, and songwriter, raised in the southern parts of Tasmania. He has developed his own style of country music over a number of years of performing and writing songs and has played everywhere between Hobart and Hamilton Island and internationally from Bali to Nashville. As a rock artist his passion for country was born when touring the southern states of America. From finally discovering the emotional depths of this genre, an amazing personal inner experience hit and changed his whole musical dynamic in one single Memphis moment.
Having fronted rock and contemporary bands, as well as duos throughout his musical existence, his path has taken him onto a solo journey into the world of country music. This journey recently led him to experience the musical depths of Nashville Tennessee where he recorded his debut album ‘Rip it up!’. Four singles from this album have been released in Australia to date, with all four enjoying chart success both here and overseas. ‘Rip It Up’ the single, was released in May 2017 and topped the Australian Country Music Charts at Number 22, the International Mainstream Country Music Charts at Number 5, and local charts at Number 7. ‘Ain’t Thinking About Monday’ was released in late July 2017 and reached an amazing Number 4 in the Australian Country Music Charts. ‘Back To Blue’ was released in November 2017 and come in at a staggering Number 5, while ‘Baby You’re The Right One’ debuted March 2018 and complimented this awesome run, topping the charts at Number 7.
'Rip it up!' the album has had a great run of successful single releases and we are positive 'Drunk Every Sunday' and its stunning video is sure to follow suit.
