”Still” is the second single from the debut EP ”SALAM" which is dropping on July 13th 2018, out on digital platforms via City Ceiling.
The calm, static rhythm is paired with intertwining vocal samples, flying in and out of focus, like your thoughts just before you fall asleep.
In the engaging video made by Danish VJ, Alice Topsøe-Jensen, 3D animated bodies melt together to create hybrids ina black and white landscape. “YASMIN’s track Still is about evolving without a climax. The dancer strives after a climax in his attempts to become human, but ends up returning to square one. Human lives are made up of waves, circles, repetitions, highs and lows, and are evolving like videoloops, electronic music and dance.”
