Black Stone | Dreamalysis

Following on from last year's taster single Paralyzed In Dreams, Perth grunge-punk duo Black Stone from the Sun are pleased to announce the April 27 arrival of their gritty debut album Dreamalysis.

Spearheaded by new single Smile In A Daze, arguably their heaviest but most melodious track yet, Dreamalysis demonstrates the band’s evolution since their 2015 EP Death Threats and Cigarettes, showcasing a refined songwriting approach that delves into darker lyrical territory whilst retaining their raucous, bone-shattering, chaotic sound.

Recorded by The Love Junkies frontman Mitch McDonald at Perth’s legendary Blackbird Studios, BSFTS can be forgiven for the time passed between releases; having kept busy by touring nationally, supporting Birds of Tokyo on their album tour and playing their asses off everywhere in WA with pals like Abbe May, New Talk (fka Rag N' Bone) and the aforementioned TLJ.

Having scored radio support far and wide from RTR to FBi and 4ZZZ to triple j, Black Stone From The Sun look set to hit the airwaves again as they prepare to tour nationally this May, with a run of WA launches soon to be announced.

"There's plenty to like about this chunky, impassioned rock.” Dave Ruby Howe, triple j Unearthed
