2017 saw the birth of Mugen. With only four singles out the Leeds based group are already making waves in the world of British Indie Rock.
Receiving support from Record of The Day, BBC Introducing, and Xune Mag to name a few. Further afield, Mugan have even been picked up by blogs in Australia, and have been playlisted on New York’s WYNR, Italy’s Primantenna FM and Radio Galileo, alongside France and Switzerland's LRDR an further afield as far as New Zealand and Australia.
More recently, Mugen were flown out to Amsterdam to write at a camp as part of the Amsterdam Dance Event - no small feat for such a young band so early on in their career, and a clear indicator of their diversity and strength of songwriting.
Mugen are currently in the studio recording their second EP - set for release in mid 2018. Shaping up to be a definitive body of work for the group, set to put them on the national stage and proving they are band to be seriously watched in 2018 and the years to come.
