Alan and Trace

ALAN and TRACE are a new exciting Country Music Duo/Band from the Gold Coast Queensland Australia. Alan and Trace came together at the Toyota Country Music Festival Tamworth 2017 backing Aaron D’Arcy Band from Melbourne for the Tamworth Family Support Service Concert on the main stage with Aleyce Simmonds, Amber Lawrence and Tori Forsyth and others, with Alan Percy on pedal steel and Tracey Davis on bass.

ALAN and TRACE are Artists in their own right.

Alan Percy is a Singer Songwriter and a multi-instrumentalist from Melbourne and Tracey Davis is a Singer Songwriter bass guitarist from Queensland and between them they both have many years of gigging and touring experience from Charting and Number One Singles around the world.

Alan Percy’s versatility and professionalism has seen him entertain audiences here in Australia and Internationally now for over two decades in Bands, Trio's, Duo's, as a Soloist, lead and harmony singer playing lead guitar, pedal steel guitar, five string banjo, mandolin, bass guitar, piano, and dobro. To add to his many talents, Alan is also a Ventriloquist, Magician, Variety Entertainer, Actor and Street Performer, working on stage, Television and an array of venues from Festivals, Hotels, Clubs, Cruise Ships to Corporate Function, Balloonology and a Stilt Walking Singer guitarist.

Tracey Davis started playing bass guitar and singing in her Dad’s Family dance band as a teenager playing at nearly every music hall in Central Queensland for many years. But Tracey didn’t stop there, she followed her love of music to the Gold Coast Qld, playing bass in many Rock, Irish, Bush, Bluegrass and Country bands like ‘Bushfire’, ‘Fiddle in the Middle’, ‘Perfect Strangers’, ‘Aaron D’Arcy and Don Allen Band’ to name a few, she also sang with Denis Knight at the Suncorp Stadium Brisbane, at Bronco private gigs and the Twin Towns Auditorium.

Tracey has written her own original songs and has recorded two country albums with six high charting singles. She has pocketed three Number One hits off her album ‘NOW’ and her music videos have been played on Country Music Channel CMC TV.

In 2017 Tracey recorded and released her single THAT’S THE WAY LOVE GOES featuring CHRIS HAIGH which was TOP 4 on The TOP 40 COUNTRY TRACKS CHART and FAME RADIO CHART off her EP THAT’S THE WAY LOVE GOES.

ALAN and TRACE have toured together in New Zealand with Don Allen and in Qld, NSW, Vic and SA on the Graham Rodger ‘Tag A Long Tour 2017’. ALAN and TRACE travel to Festivals and gigs in their tour Bus which is their home and recording studio.
