What makes the DNA of a song?
When does it become your own unique creating that separates yours from the other millions and millions of songs out there?
Is it the chords? Is it your voice? Is it the rhythm section? The guitars? The piano? The musical equipment?
”Questions like these are very common for us to discuss since we love music and everything around it. Usually we discuss stuff like that in between our breaks from rehearsing or recording in our studio”.
The studio is located in Sweden, just about north of downtown Stockholm in a little area called Solna. ”We love it! It really is our escape from the world, and you know, when you live in a country like Sweden there are two things you will have to deal with almost all the time, darkness and rain! So there aren't really so many things to do, as you spend most of the time indoors, but we don't mind. Music is what we love to do, and the nature of the weather here just makes it easier for us to do more music, so it suits us very well.
If we were to live in California for instance, we would be out surfing, skateboarding and chillin all day long and we would never get anything done because life there is just too good ha ha!
When people ask about our musical style and influences we almost immediately answer, Alternative rock!
We are almost obsessed with that genre, only because of its wide range of possibilities to experiment and explore new ground.
We love the idea of mixing the classic, drums, bass, guitar, and vocals-setup with alternative instruments and sounds that really has no limitations or rules at all.
That way we will always be able to develop our sound from album to album without losing (hopefully) our identity as a band.
Right now we are in the middle of a series of releases. Singles, music videos and debut album is in the pipeline. After our album-release we will get back on the road and tour as much as we can around Sweden and the northern countries.
In September 2018 we have an exciting tour with about 25 gigs in Russia & Germany. That will be the biggest thing so far in our carrier, so we look forward to that a lot!
