Following up to her first release ‘Why Me’ which spent 6 weeks at number 1 on a UK indie chart and is currently at number 2 in South Africa, Kannika’s next offering ‘I’m Watching You’ is released world-wide on all digital platforms today, 27th October, along with a Music Video.

The song released on the Lonely Beach label was composed by songwriter Peter Reeves and recorded and mixed in Nakhon Ratchasima in Thailand by Ian Davis and Axel Gardeback.
Kannika says of the song “It is different to Why Me, much more powerful musically and with a
good lyric”
Producer Ian said “It was a challenging song to work on. Peter writes rock music in a very symphonic way and we ended up with 186 tracks including two full kit drummers. We are all pleased with it and the atmosphere the song creates.”

success of ‘Why Me’ many people in the industry will be watching ‘I’m Watching You’ and how it performs for Thailand’s brightest new artist.
Kannika was born in the south of Thailand and has since relocated to Nakhon Ratchasima in the north east.
She has been singing from a very young age and as her career began to progress she undertook major residencies in Phuket, Kiri Khan and Hua Hin.
She currently performs in clubs in and around Nakhon Ratchasima in North east Thailand. She cites Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Janis Joplin and Tina Turner as her favourite artists but says her biggest influence on her has always been her mother who encouraged her from a very young age.
