Alternative singer/songwriter Rob Bravery was born in Bristol, UK and grew up in a small town on the outskirts. He left school at the earliest opportunity to explore music on his own terms, tagging along with local rock / indie outfits and honing his skills as a guitarist and drummer. In his early twenties he began writing and recording seriously, settling on piano as his favoured medium and quickly learning how to layer / overdub himself as a full band.

He moved to London in 2007 and joined Alessi Laurent-Marke’s folk five piece, Alessi’s Ark as a session keyboard player, occasionally opening for her on tour and eventually catching the ear of EMI Music who signed his debut release ‘The Elusive Crux’ in 2011.
His sophomore album ‘Esque’ was released on indie labels Fulfill / Squat Sound to some acclaim in 2015 signalling a shift in his sonic approach that would better reflect the themes of isolation and estrangement in his lyrics. His new sound was fully realised on 2016’s ‘You Take Half’ EP (Sony / Insanity) which was co-produced by Sneaker Pimps founder Liam Howe (Lana Del Rey, FKA Twigs).
‘Homage / Vanished’ is the lead track from Bravery’s forthcoming LP ’ Until Tomorrow, Oblivion ’ , a collection of literate, emotionally intricate songs ( due for release on October 13th) . Incepted at the piano and then reimagined in post-production, the album was written and recorded in various flats and bedrooms across London during a lengthy period of abandon and self-destruction which culminated in Rob’s departure from the UK.
He now lives in Melbourne, Australia where the album was compiled and finished.
