There's something about the sweetly melancholic indie rock of Fragile Animals that just tingles the spine. From their blissfully catchy-but-sombre melodies, to the exquisite daydreamy voice of singer and bassist Victoria Jenkins, the Sunshine Coast three-piece create breathtaking music that moves with an effortless glide. Capturing this essence, Fragile Animals have put forward their impressive new single Home.

Jenkins says of the track "We don’t really like summer...at all. Essentially ‘Home’ is a bit of a daydream about beautifully cold and rainy places. The track probably came together more quickly than any other we’ve written. Right from the start it all sort of fit together and is one of our favourites."
Evolving from one person's bedroom-written songs, Daniel Parkinson (guitar) and Kyle Shipton (drums) round out an ensemble capable of creating an incredibly detailed sound using just a few core elements. Rather than being instantly transparent of their influences, Fragile Animals merely imply.
Following on from first offering Signals (an APRA AMCOS Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition finalist) and citing Wolf Alice, The Killers and DMA' as loose influences, Home is testament to both to the skill of the individuals in the band and their chemistry together.
