Da Professor | A Solid Message - Stop Domestic Violence Within The Music

Christine Massa, “Spiky”, CEO of Spiky Music Group made her mark on the music industry with Platinum single:

“I Luv This Shit” produced by Knucklehead, who is also co-signed to Spiky Publishing.

Artist, Da Professor, born Julio Todd, hails from Kingston, Jamaica. Spiky and Da Professor, TOGETHER wanted to inspire others to come together and make a difference in others lives by helping those in need to experience the self-empowerment that comes with truly learning to Love Yourself.

The first single was released early last year titled, "I Love Myself". It was followed by the second release "Anything is Possible" and the long awaited third single, "Rock Star" will be released end of summer.

The message within the music:

When a person "loves" themselves they pose confidence & self-worth enabling “Anything to become possible," A solid message within the music of the second single. Becoming your own "Rock Star" is the result.

"I Love Myself" is also the anthem to their newly formed foundation. Stop the Abuse Foundation.

Julio Todd

Spiky, Da Professor and NFL alumni Terry Kirby are the founders of, Stop the Abuse Foundation. The power trio joined forces to raise awareness within the community as well as partner with other organisations working on prevention and raising awareness of the issues surrounding domestic violence.

The Mission, raised public’s awareness on the existence & shocking statistics on domestic violence via medium of locally & nationally distributed musical productions. Striving to achieve these ends by distributing funds received to partner with relative organizations that specifically & physically aid victims of domestic violence and abuse. www.stoptheabusefoundation.org

Through strategically developed partnerships and the medium of music they hope to educate people on the issues behind domestic violence and why the issue needed to be spotlighted. Hoping that by giving back to abused victims they are able to give them back a sense of identity and self-worth.

“I Love Myself” video release is the first phase of a year long trilogy release and marketing campaign.

Our release strategy incorporates a very unique approach to releasing music with a cause. It will begin with grabbing the attention of those in need and soliciting sponsorship support in a dramatic and different way. Then it will continue by delivering the message powerfully through meaningful music in a three step release format.

This approach mirrors the steps defined in many recovery programs.

‘It’s our unique Formula we will share with the world'. It will enable those that embrace it to lead a more fulfilled life. I am excited to be part of all those who begin their new journey of self-love and create their own success stories as they embrace our trilogy approach as a life lesson. It all starts with self-love! “Gotta Love Yourself” ‘says, Spiky.

Da Professor views the foundation as part of ‘A philanthropic charity that actively works to bring awareness and move people into action.’

Excerpt from the Song:

I'm in love with myself ‘cause I know that no one’s gonna love me like I do.

Even when I'm down and I'm floating on grey clouds I’m the only one to turn it sky blue.

I buy myself the finest things, money or cars don't mean a thing.

I'm strong enough to do it on my own and I mean it from deep within.

Spiky Music Group will change our world one song at a time!
